As pumped as I am for warmer weather, I always like to look back in appreciation of fall/winter styles before it's time to spring forward.   I love the rich textures and colors even though I get excited for bright colors and festival-isnpired threads each year.  March is always a great time to play around with transitional pieces and to get another wear out of a fall or winter favorite.  Here's looking on the bright side when the weather gets weird! { sunnies: Balenciaga  // bag: Victoria Beckham // dress:  Alexander McQueen  // pumps: Prada }

It took me a little bit to commit to this piece but I am so happy I did.  Its so comfy and adds a lil bit of funk to all black outfit.  The trick is to balance out the volume of the coat with an overall straight silhouette.  All black is sleek but can be a little basic so throw this on for some fun.   { sunnies:   Wildfox // earrings: Sarah Richey   // sweater: Cleobella  // choker:   Vanessa Mooney  // top: Keepsake - ON SALE! // bag:   Chloe   keychain: Adrienne Landau // jeans: Frame   // shoes:   Vince   }

SAM. I Am

It's a bird, it's a plane J.K. - It's my ADD with a dash of awkward { Sunnies:  Quay  // Coat:  SAM.  // Necklace: Sarah Richey  // Top: Nation LTD // bag: Celine //  jeans:  J Brand  // boots:  Jeffrey Campbell  } I moved to Dallas four years ago and I absolutely love it.  I love it to the point where sometimes I long to identify as a true Texas girl.  YouTube However,  I never miss a chance to head back to the place where I was 'born 'n' raised':  Good Ole Music City, USA.  I have been lucky to be able to go back in forth between both cities, but I am always amazed at how Nashville appears to grow overnight.  My foodie sister always has new spots for us to try, there are new neighborhoods to explore, and the shopping and Style Scene  is exploding.   Back in the day, a trip to Atlanta was the move whenever we wanted to really get some good ...

sunnies: Wildfox  // dress: Alexander McQueen  // bag: Chanel // shoes:  Christian Louboutin I have never been big on celebrating Valentine's Day- single or Liam Neeson'ed .  From being mistaken for a lesbian couple on a fro yo date, or making lobster/rubber pasta and salmon/catfood, it's one of those holidays that always has an interesting ending.  Don't get me wrong though- I am in no way a hater.  In fact, Valentine's Day style guides  are usually the only ones I find shopping (except for NYE , because who doesn't love any reason to sparkle ).   This dress sums up my ideal v-day or date night outfit.  The fit and flare silhouette makes its sexy yet sophisticated, and the red and lace detail adds the perfect femme touch.   <3 Special thanks to Cindy De Umberto and the team at Alexander McQueen Highland Park that always make it a necessary stop!   xx Laura
