People Like Art

I came across this boxy crop top while checking out the Porter Flea Market.  We were able to see collections from many different local Nashville designers and artists, but this cute little print caught my eye and I had to have it.  I though it would be a cute way to dress up some shorts and when putting this look together I decided to stick to a kind of monochrome slightly-mod vibe.

The focus behind People Like Art, designed by Shannon Lea, is creating the label's own printed textiles in the East Nashville studio.  The line's pieces are modern and unique, yet wearable enough to fit in with the rest of your wardrobe.  People Like Art has developed relationships with domestic, family- owned suppliers in addition to creating patterns, dyeing and printing fabrics, and sewing garments by hand and in-house in order to produce quality clothing at an affordable price point.
