Happy July 19!
Some of you may have already read a similar post on another favorite "holiday, Pina Colada Day, where I spent way to much time on Pinterest to bring you less caloric yet still alcoholic versions of the vacation classic. Well this is part two: Daiquiri Edition.
yup.

- 6 ounces clear rum (adjust based on your affinity for alcohol)
- 6 ounces vodka (adjust based on your affinity for alcohol)
- 3 packets Stevia

- sliced lime for garnish
Directions: put all ingredients in a blender and serve.
OK THIS RECIPE IS PERFECT
but if your fancy or a little more of a Martha Stewart type, I've included a few more.
makes 1 serving, 121 calories
-1 2-serving packet of sugar free drink mix (Crystal Light Strawberry Kiwi or Energy Wild Strawberry)
- 1 1/2 oz. white rum
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 3 frozen unsweetened lightly thawed (massaged) strawberries
- 1 cup crushed ice OR 5-8 ice cubes- damn, this recipe is particular
Directions: Mix drink mix with 4 oz. cold water and transfer to a blender. Blend all ingredients until "slushy and uniform" since those are synonyms (?) before adding to a glass with a straw (more specifications). Then "slurp that baby up!" ... LOL
