See something sketchy about this? "It's 3 a.m. and I need someone over here immediately to clean up a rather large stain..."

Gray Skies & Neon Breakfasts

I was hit by a wave of panic last night when my voice cracked like a 12 year old boy as I scolded my puppy for chewing on the wall. Already jet lagged, long days, and being around so many people the next few weeks makes me a prime candidate for any illnesses floating around. Prevention is better than any cure. My ultimate cure for the morning after? 1. 8 hours of sleep (bed early,up early) 2. Steady workout to get me going 3. Spa pedicure (I just wanted to justify this) 4. And a bright pitaya bowl from Nektar for a giant burst of vitamin C.

Ughhh DrunkMe is like, Soooo Annoying

20 Questions for the New Year

Image
A few days into the new year, I'm realizing 2013 has left me with a few cliffhangers...   Current Ponderings: 1).  Will the Chanel Boy Bag cause hoards of bloggers and fashionatics to shelve their beloved Celines next to their practically prehistoric Balenciagas? 2).  Will the Chanel espadrille become the new it-shoe despite impracticalities due to those inconveniences called seasons? 3).  And what will the crunchies do when they find out that Chanel will never donate a pair to an  African Child ??  4).  Will Lululemon recover from the backlash of the yoga pant scandal of the past year? Perhaps Rob Ford would make a better CEO if his reelection doesn't work out, despite his antics during his drunken stupors.  Hell, maybe crack helps in the creativity department?   Or maybe Lulu could partner with Kate Spade: I think I could really rock I Heart Kony  across my @$$  a la Juicy circa 2005 5).  Will Cara Delevingne pluck or will she

It's The Thought That Counts... Right?

Kanye West gave Kim this perfectly good Birkin, but didn't stop there.  George Condo, an artist Kanye previously worked with for his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album art, splashed a lovely photo of a naked woman surrounded by three naked people who just ate a tub of bath salts on the front of the bag.  This gift was doomed to be as much of a success as that previous album of Kanye's.  Hopefully the bag truly is one of a kind.

One Last Thing...

That One Day in Melbourne

Image
My last full day in Australia was spent in downtown Melbourne. The majority of the day was spent on a private tour of the city guided guided by Kenneth, who as a tour guide, architecture expert, AND is licensed to marry couples is a real triple threat. He also has the unique gift to make architecture and history way more interesting. Maybe it's because he includes stories of the... um, colorful people in Melbourne's history, uses words like "bonking", and points out things like spikes on top of statues designed "to keep the birds from shitting atop his head". We also had the chance to do a little shopping in the city: a vintage diamond and black opal ring for me, a new Hermes bangle for Natalie. Our last night ended with a great dinner in which we all drank too much, bringing us to tears over our parent's cuteness. "I touched the butt" yes, yes I believe that is correct.   zip and a double cup slime time
